An exciting opportunity currently exists for experienced AINs to join the casual pool at our Southport facility, a 94 bed facility with an additional 106 bed Independent Living Units close to the Nerang River on the Gold Coast. We are offering casual shifts, and candidates are requested to have availability during the school holiday and public holiday periods for all shifts – AM, PM and Night shifts, there is capacity to pick up shifts to cover both sick and annual leave, and the possibility to move into a permanent part time position dependent upon your availability.
 
Successful applicants will also share a genuine desire to care and assist residents with a strong person centred care focus and will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Aged Care.
  • Previous experience with Autumn Care (desirable);
  • An ability to provide personal care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation;
  • Ability to follow directives as per can plan;
  • An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
  • An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
  • Great time management, bedside and communication skills;
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
