Harrigan's Drift Inn, constructed as part of the master-planned marina and luxury waterfront residential development Calypso Bay, Queensland, is the Gold Coast's only waterfront tavern designed specifically to attract boaties enjoying the waterways between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The pub features a 30-metre visitors’ pontoon right on the main channel linking Jumpinpin with the waters of southern Moreton Bay. Harrigan's Drift Inn is currently seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to join as Food & Beverage Supervisor. Reporting to the Venue Manager, this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a culture, structure and ambience that is competitive, profitable and continues the history of success Harrigan’s Irish Pub has experienced in the past.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Have previous experience working in a similar role.
- The ability to successfully lead, train and develop a team to achieve the very best in service and standards.
- Be competent in all operational aspects of the hospitality/liquor industry with sound food knowledge.
- Self-motivated and task driven with strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Be knowledgeable on the responsible service of alcohol.
- Be competent in all aspects of hotel gaming including poker machines, TAB and Keno.
- Experience in managing costs, stock control and driving revenue.
- Work well under pressure, with the ability to multitask.
