This privately owned food organisation with its Head Office in Melbourne are the leaders and drivers of the categories in which they compete. With their market leading brands being well known in all retail channels they are growing their business and the category via high quality and exciting new product development.

The Role

This exciting newly created role is reporting into the General Manager, Sales and Marketing and is responsible for strategically growing the business in a number of potential channels that are keen to distribute and retail their market leading brands.

Working closely with the Marketing team and the national sales team you will set up this sales department and strategically identify these opportunities and then professionally execute them to profitably grow the business outside of the normal grocery retail channels.

You will form outstanding commercial top to top relationships with these new key customers and provide value added solutions for them via the existing brand and range or via new product development opportunities.

What you can offer

- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Marketing.

- Experience and proven success in a senior sales role in an FMCG, fresh produce or

agri business.

- Ability to identify and secure new customers , channels and business opportunities.

- Ability to create outstanding commercial customer relationships.

- High level of financial and commercial acumen.

- Great presentation and communication skills.
